Global Career Launch is pleased to offer the city of Atlanta as an option for your 6-week unpaid internship and cultural experience.
Atlanta is a very cosmopolitan city known for its unique mix of southern and urban culture, the home of Coca-Cola and CNN, and as the host of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. The city is also well-known for its performing and visual arts, excellent restaurants and shops, and the world’s largest aquarium. Take the World of Coca-Cola tour or enjoy a concert at the Fox Theater. Atlanta offers so much for everyone!
Spending a summer living and working in the United States provides every participant with life-long memories and important professional growth. Over six weeks you’ll learn more about work-life and culture the United States. You’ll enhance your resume with an eye-catching American internship and have an interesting story to talk about during job interviews when you graduate from University!

Six Flags Over Georgia
Six Flags Over Georgia is a 100-acre park with awesome rides, great shows, and incredible attractions. “Of course, we have gravity-defying thrill rides like Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia. But, the fact is, we have just about every kind of ride for every kind of rider. From towering coasters to family-pleasers, like a classic carousel, we’ve got you covered. In addition to the most thrilling rides on the planet, you’ll find a wide variety of top-shelf entertainment right here at the park. The kind of entertainment you’ll be talking about for years to come!

Major League Baseball Game:
Take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the American national pastime of baseball. The experience is as much about the atmosphere and socializing as it is watching the action. Try a hot dog and put on your baseball cap as the Braves try for the win!

Free Weekend
This is your chance to independently travel, explore, and/or relax. You will have two free weekends (Including one 4-day weekend) to use as you please. You can use this time to explore other activities in your host city or you can travel to any other destination within the United States. Last year, students went to New York, Los Angeles, and Florida on their Free weekends! July 4 is a national holiday in the United States and travel is very popular on that weekend; please keep this in mind if you would like to travel. Your travel and activities for this weekend are not included in your program. You will be responsible for your own travel, accommodations, and activity costs.
