Cultural Vistas seeks organizations interested in providing unpaid, six-to-eight week internships to one or more students as part of the GCL Summer Internship Program.
The internship should be located in close proximity to public transportation in the metropolitan areas of Chicago, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.
Hosting an intern in the GCL program is simple. The internship you provide is unpaid and there are no program fees. As a J-1 visa sponsor, Cultural Vistas is committed to ensuring that all necessary requirements are met – meaning no paperwork.
Cultural Vistas handles everything from the intern's entry visa to their accommodations, as well as their transportation to and from work. In fact, the only commitments are a six-to-eight week placement corresponding to the dates listed for your city, clear and understandable tasks, and sufficient supervision to ensure the completion of assigned duties.

My work was about online media. During my internship, I learned about so many companies in United States. For the final project, me and my workmate created a video for the marketing department of our company to sell our products.

It improved my understanding deeply towards foreign culture and gave me an enlightenment of how government and non-government organizations could work together to build an efficiency system for people, community and society.

I think internship was the most meaningful part about my program city. I improved my English skill, especially my listening skill and oral skill. Secondly, I learnt the accounting software, which applied my knowledge to the practice. Moreover, I learnt how to adapt myself to a new environment.

This internship program taught me to adapt to a new and unfamiliar environment with culture totally different from my home country. And I got a good knowledge about the work and life environment in the United States. I believe this experience will bring me a better opportunity in finding a job after graduation. I really appreciate
this program.
