Global Career Launch (GCL) was first established in 2007 by AIPT as an opportunity for university students to live and work in the United States for the summer, while experiencing American culture and building skills to enhance their career prospects. GCL students are provided with a fully comprehensive experience including internship placement, transportation to their job, visa sponsorship, accommodations, and cultural outings as a group. The all-inclusive nature of GCL allows for a smooth transition from university classes at home, to work-life in the United States.
AIPT (the Association for International Practical Training) provides educational and professional exchange experiences to over 2,000 participants every year to enhance cultural awareness and develop the global competencies and mutual understanding for international cooperation.
A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and designated sponsor of Exchange Visitor Programs, AIPT is authorized by the U.S. Department of State to issue form DS-2019, the document required to enter the United States on a J-1 visa.
