Cultural Vistas works with partner organizations to place participants across a variety of industries and fields, ranging from high-tech companies and startups to law firms, universities, nonprofits, and government organizations.
The Global Career Launch program offers:
- Six-to-eight week unpaid summer internships in your field of choice
- Flexible timetable and the opportunity to receive academic credit allowing students to tailor the experience to best suit their needs and preferences
- J-1 visa sponsorship from Cultural Vistas to live and work in the U.S.
- Placement in one of three major U.S. cities (Chicago, San Francisco, or Washington)
- Support from dedicated in-city staff and Cultural Vistas’ 24-hour emergency hotline
- Cost savings available as part of ‘early-bird’ discount program
(see Program Fees) - Shared accommodation with other international participants
- Medical insurance
- Welcome orientation seminar and group dinner upon arrival
- Cultural activities, sightseeing events, and free weekends to explore U.S. culture and customs
